Historic Cottages Two pet friendly cottages – 'Stoneycroft' circa 1864 stone cottage. Or choose 'Mountain Duck Cottage' for a modern feel holiday house with a classy open plan kitchen/sitting room.

Stoneycroft Cottage

Built in 1864 by Scottish Stonemasons, Stoneycroft sleeps 6 in 2 bedrooms. Great for couples, with a cosy open wood fire but, alternatively, by overflowing into the adjoining Shearers Quarters it can accommodate up to 16 guests. Very flexible for family get-togethers or groups.

Mountain Duck Cottage

This classy cottage has European appliances in an open plan kitchen/sitting room with air-conditioning, a wood fire and 4 sunny bedrooms which sleep 8 guests.

Pets are very Welcome I'm going on holidays…Both Cottages are fenced and have purpose built dog yards to secure your pet if you want to go to the mountains for the day and leave your pet behind. Your dog will love the 3 kilometre laneway walk on the farm as well as the river walk in Cavendish and will enjoy the freedom they have been dreaming of in the city.
